This creek intersects with Johnson Camp Creek to form a fairly large cove then continues on to drain into Lake Fork Creek. Glade Creek joins with CANEY CREEK about midways under the FM-515 east bridge. This entire region is very popular during the spawning season. Several unnamed creeks drain into Glade Creek. GLADE CREEKĬreates a smaller fork on the Caney Creek side of Lake Fork. This creek makes several nice bends and comes very close to many points. LONG CREEKĬreates a fairly large cove that has been popular with fishermen over the years. Once joined, Running Creek continues to the south making many sharp bends in various water depths. Both Carroll and Running Creek join just south of the FM-2225 road. Generally the cove this creek forms is 10 feet and under in depth. Joins with Running Creek and has many areas thick with vegetation during warm months. This creek makes several good bends and comes fairly close to the shoreline in many areas. This entire cove would have to be considered one of the 5 best areas to fish on Lake Fork. Birch Creek was a fairly significant creek. This creek forms a large cove between the Highway 5 bridge. Little Caney Creek is fishable most everywhere and this entire region has produced some of Forks' largest bass. Caney Creek was a fairly large creek and is fishable in quite a few areas, especially in the mid to upper regions. This creek makes up the northeast side (right side) of the "V" of Lake Fork. This creek is located in too deep of water to fish effectively for bass except in the extreme upper regions, or where it comes close to underwater humps.
